I’m Monica McQuitty, (most people call me Mon) the passionate photographer behind love by shae.
love by shae was named after: My gorgeous daughter, Shae.
At love by shae, I’m obsessed with capturing the memories that mean the most to you and turning them into beautiful images you can re-live (and re-love) forever.
I’m always talking about the light and I follow it wherever it takes me, even across the world. I’m extremely fortunate it has taken me as far as Fiji and Bali to capture weddings!
But nothing excites me more than creating timeless art for my couples to treasure forever.
From guiding you in creating a complete timeline for your special day right through to delivering your final (tear-jerking!) images and album, I’ll be by your side throughout your entire wedding journey.

From stolen glances to cheeky kisses and getting loose on the d-floor, I'll be there to document your love story (and all the fun bits). I'll even make sure to snap authentic moments that may've slipped by unnoticed - they're the best ones!
Whether you want me to inconspicuously lurk in the shadows, snapping candid shots or be right up the front, rounding everyone up for group photos, I'll be the chameleon you need on the day. Either way, I'll be behind the cameras, not missing a beat.
Hand on heart, every ounce of my energy will go towards creating a gorgeous collection of images to forever memorialize your day. When you look through the photos, memories will come to life and it'll be as though you're right there doing it all over again.
